Mr Gavin Parry
It's been a couple weeks since I received the stainless steel RFID blocking wallet and I am very satisfied with the purchase. The wallet is very sleek and all of my cards fit snug into the holders. I have already accidentally dropped it and it didn't pop open, and I opened it upside down not paying attention and nothing fell out. It has a very professional look and I've used it at a couple high end restaurants and received positive feedback from people on it. I've shared information to friends about the technology who had never heard about RFID blocking and they also liked how it looked and displayed the cards. I am curious as to how the wallet will hold up over time and I will try to update the review after six months then a year to see how it's doing.
I've been a moneyclipper for as long as I remember. I love the sleek, portable aesthetic. Unfortunately with advancements in technology there comes the price of scary peeps with their creepy technology trying to find new ways to read all up in your business. While this wallet isn't as tiny as a money clip, it feels just as cool, and much more safe.
Wow! This wallet really works. Put my rfid gym card inside along with my cc card and id. Went to the gym and swiped my wallet, like I normally do, and couldn't get the door open. For a second I was cpnfused then I remembered that I had switched wallets and my zenlet wallet was blocking the signal.
Very impressed with this wallet right out of the box. Well constructed with a good weight to it, so I'm not concerned about it slipping out of my front pocket. There are 6 card slots inside and I realized, I was carrying a BUNCH of unnecessary junk in my old wallet. Old receipts, rewards cards I never use, business cards from people I dont even like, etc.... Now, I am down to bare minimum and it's exhilarating. I have my ID, debit, two credit cards and two insurance cards in one slot, because they're thin. I have been able to put 10 twice-folded bills in a slot up front very easily. Order now. You will not be disappointed. And for the price, it's an absolute steal. So much in fact after using it the 1st day, I purchased another one just to have on hand. Buy it... You know you want to! Lol
I have been carrying this wallet for a few weeks now and I have really come to love with it. This is probably the best wallet I have ever used. I wear it primarily in my back pocket and I don't feel it sitting down unlike the wallet it replaces. Space really isn't an issue for me either. Some thing that are in there right now is my Library card, Insurance card, Credit card, Debit card, spare key for my car (has to be a wallet key), Drivers license, and two business cards. Wallet sill closes fine. If I didn't have the business cards in there I would fold two $20's in there and it would be fine. I have dropped this wallet maybe 3 times on concrete. Not on purpose obviously but it help up fine there aren't even any deep chunks missing unlike my cellphone. The locking mechanism is great, I think part of that Is how simple it is.
Case is well made, people have already commented on it's beauty. Mainly purchased for RFID shielding, but also as an effort to eliminate the wallet clutter. Well this can only hold so many cards, and I had to decide the bare minimum I wanted to carry and will carry cash and store cards in a separate wallet...as this is intended mainly for RFID protection. (I am taking an Info Security course and was quite shocked to learn how easy and how numerous ID theft opportunities are without RFID protection.. not just credit cards.
Had credit card info stolen in the airport years ago by an RFID reader... Had purchased and used a number of lesser quality RFID wallets. For a guy who used to have a George Castanza (see Seinfeld ref) I paired down to just IDs and credit cards. The problem with the old RFID wallets I was using was the strength of the clasps. With what I had in the wallet, they would never stay closed however, with the BRYK wallet the clasp always stays closed. This was huge for me. The thick metal and the sleek look add to the quality of this wallet. As for the RFID BLOCKING, I work in a SCIF, so to test it, I put my badge in it and ran it across the badge reader without being able to read my badge inside... That's a sure sign the faraday cage was working. I WOULD RECOMMEND these wallets to anyone looking for a sleek, very well made RFID wallet that exudes Quality!
I honestly didn't like this at first and was unsure if I was even giing to use it. But, necessity drove me to finally give it a try and my opinion has completely changed. It is very convenient to gave all my essential and daily used cards in one place without being bulky. I like front pocket wallets and this one dies the job just fine. I have fit in there a total of 8 cards and 2 folded up bills as a backup. That seems to be the extent of what it carries for me, although I did notice some cards are thicker than others so some might be able to fit more or less. The latch holds up well and has never opened unintentionally other than when I was trying to see how much I could stuff in there.
I did not buy this wallet for the RFID protection, I purchased it for a more comfortable every day carry for my cards. The RFID protection is a nice bonus though. Perhaps it will save me one day without me ever realizing it and that's the best kind of saving.
This is really a fantastic steel wallet. I was looking for a travel wallet which would carry my ID, credit cards, and cash that would comfortably fit in one of the inside pockets of my go-to travel blazer. I also wanted a wallet that was RFID secure both to keep my cards from potentially being copied or by having the magnetic strip on a credit card or hotel key get demagnetized. I haven't had the wallet long so I can't speak to the longevity of the wallet but my initial impression is that the wallet is well made and will stand the test of time (and travel). If you are looking for a secure travel wallet or are just looking for something different of the minimalist variety I would suggest you give this wallet a try.
Inside you will find seven card holders which I think will last a long, long time. I don't know what they are made of but I tried to cram two credit cards into one holder and while two cards won't fit, the holder showed NO sign of stress nor any tendency to rip. The accordion design of the holders allows you to see all the cards thus simplifying card selection.
This is one of two metal RFID wallets that I own, and it's the better of the two. The metal case is fairly sturdy and the metal clasp locks tight. My other wallet has a flimsy plastic clasp mechanism, and it opens whenever the wallet is dropped. The sheaths in this wallet are thicker than my other wallet, and it has held up longer against wear-and-tear. For me, this wallet works because I do not typically carry around change or many bills, so my driver's license and 5 other cards can fit nicely. The wallet is also less bulky than my other one, and I usually keep it in my jacket pocket rather than jeans or pants. These wallets are obviously not for everyone given what you can fit in them, but it has been great for me!
First I rarely write a review, but this product exceeded my expectations so I felt obligated to write something. What I like most about this wallet is it has enough room to carry my every day cards and is sturdy enough to hold up to wear and tear of my active lifestyle. The only complaint was the first wallet I received from this product had a defective latch that was preventing the wallet from staying closed. I had received an email from the company asking how I felt about their product and I responded telling them about the problem. Within hours I had received a reply, I was stunned customer service is always so hit or miss so the quick reply was amazing. After a short conversation they explained how this was an extremely uncommon problem and sent me a replacement. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their bulky wallet for something slim. Most importantly a phenomenal they are a phenomenal company with a great product.
I like the compact size of it more than anything else. Nowadays i use one credit card for rewards so the cash aspect doesn't apply. It does hold five twenty dollar bills in a slot though. I have my drivers license, debit card, credit card, Costco membership card, my son's health card, 100 bucks in twenties, lottery tickets and 3 business cards. Its a bit full but it holds it all. When i got it at first i wasnt super impressed but after using it i do recommend it to you!
I am a woman who likes small wallets that I can just slip into a pocket so this seemed perfect. I was 'downsizing' from a fat, leather business card holder. This holds exactly what I need (except business cards): health insurance card and AAA card together in front slot, 3 credit cards, my license, up to 6 USD bills plus one check (all folded in thirds) in the back slot. I was worried if the clasp would be reliable but haven't had a problem after a month of regular use. Note that the old credit cards are fatter due to raised text/numbers so that may be a limitation for some. Only one of my cards still has raised text. For the quality at this price point, I give this five stars.
I love this! I carry a small purse so for quite some time my credit cards just floated around in my purse because I didn't want to take up precious space for a bulky wallet. Then, I found this solution to my problem. It holds all my essential credit cards and drivers license and I love that it opens up as an accordion so that I can easily locate the card I need. For my other cards, like health and vechicle insurance, that I need to keep on me but don't use often, I purchased at thin metal business card holder.
am very impressed with this card holder including the gift box it comes in. Everything about it speaks elegance and class. The exterior is smooth, polished, high grade stainless steel which, in addition to being very sturdy, also provides a high degree of RFID protection. The case's latching mechanism is also well designed and features riveted construction. I was unable to force the case open by twisting and turning with my hands so it is unlikely to pop open while in a pocket or purse.
